Brilliant rod builder Andy Manchester Jr. built me the most beautiful nine foot 7/8/9 weight fly rod on a vintage Hardy Fibatube blank called a Sceptre. Here, Buckley Juhasz, who helped design the Sceptre rods and sold them exclusively through Anglersmail in Cleveland, spools 100 feet of line off my Medalist 1495. It was an effortless cast and, as Buck said, the rod casts "beautifully."
